Questions

Help and questions

The things collectors ask before they buy, answered straight.
  • Is the card in the photos the one I'll get?

Yes. Every card is photographed front and back before it's listed, and those photos are of that exact card, never stock images. When you buy, that is the card we pack.

  • How do you grade condition?

Raw cards are graded Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played or Damaged, against a published guide that says what each grade allows on corners, edges and surface. Graded slabs show the grading company, grade and certificate number.

  • How much is postage?

Postage is charged once per order, however many cards you add. Cards from two different shops are two orders, each with its own postage. Postage starts at £1.55 for Royal Mail 2nd Class. Tracked postage from £2.95. Orders of £20 or more always go tracked. Orders of £75 or more go Special Delivery, signed for and insured.

  • How quickly do you post?

Packed and posted within 1 to 3 working days of your order. Every order is photographed as it's packed, and tracked orders show the tracking number on your order page.

  • Where do you post from, and where to?

From the UK, to UK addresses. PokeVerse is run by POLYXMEDIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.

  • Can I return a card?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. If a card's condition isn't what we said, a fixed ladder decides the outcome: one grade out means a 15% partial refund or a full refund on return, and anything further off means a full refund including postage both ways.

  • How are prices set?

Singles are priced against the current UK market reference for that exact card and print, which is shown in the card's details, with its 30-day trend once we have a month of prices. Cards marked Under market are at least 5% below it.

  • How do I pay?

Securely through Stripe's checkout by card. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear when your device supports them. We never see or store your card details.

  • Do you sell Japanese cards, graded slabs and sealed product?

Yes. Alongside English singles there are Japanese and other language cards, graded slabs with their certificate numbers, sealed product and bulk lots. Search or browse by set to see what's in stock.

  • Can I track what my own collection is worth?

Yes, free. Add cards to My Dex by searching or scanning them, and see their value in pounds, how complete each set is, and a wishlist that emails you when a card you want is listed.

  • How do I get in touch?
