The small print, made readable

PokeVerse (pokeverse.net) is a small UK card shop run by collectors. You can reach us at hello@pokeverse.net. We're not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
PokeVerse is independent. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. or The Pokémon Company.
Prices are in pounds sterling. Postage is shown in your basket before you pay and is charged once per shop. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
When you pay, we hold the cards for you and send a confirmation email. Our contract with you starts at that point. If we find a problem we couldn't have spotted earlier (a card that sold elsewhere at the same moment, or a pricing mistake that's obviously an error), we'll tell you straight away and refund you in full.
While you're paying, the cards in your basket are held for 30 minutes. If payment isn't completed in that time, they go back on sale.
We post to UK addresses, within the dispatch time shown on each order, and photograph every order as it's packed. The postage service is chosen by basket value, as explained on our postage page. The cards are your responsibility once they're delivered.
You can cancel within 14 days of delivery for any reason. You pay for return postage, and we refund you within 14 days of receiving the return. Returns are checked against the listing photos. Condition disputes follow a fixed ladder. All of this is set out on our returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply. We're responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, up to the amount you paid for the order. We aren't responsible for business losses, since we sell to collectors for personal use. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
You don't need an account to buy. If you create one, keep your password to yourself. Portfolio values are estimates from public price guides and are there to help you track your collection. They aren't financial advice or a guaranteed price.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims in your local courts.
